CURB-AIR goal
“To contribute to improving air quality in Asian mega cities while contributing to climate change mitigation by using the Clean Development Mechanism”.
CURB-AIR focuses on air pollution as the main environmental issue for cities, and considers CDM a window of opportunity for financing implementation of clean energy technology.

The CURB-AIR project ended on January 31, 2008
The Handbook for urban policymakers, the CDM viability report and all other publications and workshop presentations can be downloaded in sections ‘project results’ and ‘events’. We warm-heartedly thank all stakeholders and workshop participants for their contributions to CURB-AIR, as well as the EU-Asia Pro Eco Programme for their financial support.

Successful workshops in Bangkok and Brussels
The two final CURB-AIR dissemination workshops were attended by a high number of participants from over 20 countries, including policymakers, project developers, CDM consultants, academia and NGOs.
